The seasonal species include black-winged stilt, white necked stork, spoonbill, open bill stork, red wattle lapwing, bar-headed goose, white winged scoter and grey heron.
Bird-watching is an interesting activity which is significantly practiced by fewer in the town. A motorbike visit will experience the other smaller water bodies near Karavetti haven. The location is really an aesthetic treat because it is full of lavish greenery.
